Kendall Jenner's dark raven hair might be her signature, but she's not afraid to change it up once in a while (we all remember her copper hair moment that sparked a strawberry blonde trend, after all).

For her 2023 spring look, it seems that Kendall has reached for the bleach – debuting a pretty new sun-kissed look in a new photo shared by her glam squad on Instagram.

In fact, those in the know might call the model's new look ‘golden hour highlights’, mimicking the effect of the sun bouncing off the hair in that soft and flattering way it only can in that final hour before sunset.

Kendall's colourist, Mat Rez, simply describes the look as “sun-kissed hair goals”, and we have to agree.

While still keeping the The Kardashians star's roots dark and cool, it seems that Mat added plenty of golden highlights to the mid-lengths and ends of Kendall's new 'do, made all the more effective with her tousled texture and middle parting – styled by hairdresser Cherilyn Farris.

Kendall's new photo appears to be a still from a future series of The Kardashians, season 3 of which is due to air on May 25 on Disney+. The image – which shows her pulling a signature Kendall Jenner pout – was shared by Mat, Cherilyn and makeup artist Diane Buzzetta, who all worked with Kendall on her new look for the show.

We don't know when Kendall opted in for her lighter look, but she has certainly been sporting her sun-kissed waves during recent appearances. For her trip to watch the Lakers with Bad Bunny on May 12, her brunette hair was looking firmly golden – and again for a night out in Los Angeles later that week.

Kaia Gerber recently hopped on the ‘golden hour highlights’ trend, too, and while highlights for spring aren't exactly groundbreaking, it's a celebrity hair trend that's distinctly do-able – and for that, we can be grateful.
